This was my first all original band. We spent quite a bit of time in Larry’s basement writing the first few song and then we added my brother, Joe, in 1991. Due to creative differences and conflicting personalities between my brother and me, I quit the band in 1994 to play bass guitar Redwing. We were young and stupid. Honestly, and in my humble opinion, the iteration that came after was much better.
We recorded the album Aggravation on a 4-track cassette recorder that I somehow still own in my brother’s living room. I tried to clean it up using modern techniques but with the original cassette tape lost to time, this is as good as it gets. I still enjoy the hell out of it and believe it’s not too shabby for being one of the only bands at the time writing their own music.
